Arsenal rounded off an otherwise disappointing season on a high by shocking Premier League champions Chelsea in the FA Cup Final on Saturday.

Alexis Sanchez struck early with a controversial goal initially ruled offside only for referee Anthony Taylor to allow the effort following discussions with his assistant. Replays suggested the Chilean handled the ball in the build-up.

In arguably their best performance of the season, Arsenal dominated large periods of the Wembley showpiece as Antonio Conte’s side struggled to gain a foothold.

The task hardened for Chelsea when Victor Moses was shown a second yellow card for simulation, only for Diego Costa to equalise soon after with 15 minutes to play.

The celebrations were short-lived, however, as Aaron Ramsey headed home a smart dinked cross from substitute Olivier Giroud to score the winner in an FA Cup final for the second time.
