I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!'s new King of the Jungle, Harry Redknapp, has joked that he didn't recognise Emily Atack in the outside world.

The two became friends in a unique environment – full of creepy crawlies, stinking Bushtucker Trials and less than ideal hygiene standards – so you'd forgive anybody for taking a second glance at their campmates back in normal life.

Appearing on Good Morning Britain earlier today (December 10), Harry was discussing the idea of Emily getting together with his son Jamie Redknapp – which had been a recurring conversation on I'm a Celebrity.

"When I first saw her in the jungle, I thought, 'No chance', but I've seen her today when she's scrubbed up and she looks alright, I'm telling ya. She looks very useful. She looks good.

"But when I saw her in the jungle I though, 'No, you ain't got a prayer'."

Harry then added: "Today, when she scrubbed up she looked fantastic. I went, 'Who are you?'"

Emily had the chance to respond to Harry's comments during her time on Lorraine today, noting: "Do you know, it's so funny, we're seeing each other for the first time in actual clothes and we don't smell like cockroaches and fire. I think my hair still smells a bit like fire.

"Everyone's beautiful and smells amazing. I'm looking at John Barrowman going, 'You look like John Barrowman!'"

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV, with Lorraine following from 8.30am.
