I'm A Celebrity 2018 trailer: Holly Willoughby 'excited' for 'adventure of a lifetime' in first look trailer with Declan Donnelly

ITV has given fans their first look at Holly Willoughby in her new jungle home as she kicks off the “adventure of a lifetime” alongside Declan Donnelly.

The TV favourite has joined Donnelly to front the new series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here in place of show regular Ant McPartlin.

Willoughby, 37, proved she’s ready for jungle life, sporting a faux snake skin skirt and a t-shirt emblazoned with an outline of the reptile for the first official trailer.

The video shows the This Morning host nudge Donnelly after he forgets she is as new to the experience as the famous camp mates.

“The wait is almost over and the adventure of a lifetime is about to begin for 10 familiar faces, sorry 11 familiar faces,” he says before turning to his new co-star. “You’re in the jungle. It’s exciting!”

Willoughby replies: “How did I get here?”

All eyes will be on Willoughby who has admitted to being scared of everything. The TV presenter was left screaming after taking part in a mock Bushtucker trial ahead of jetting Down Under.

The show’s resident medic Bob this week revealed she is the “most scared” he has ever seen anyone on the series.

“Holly’s more scared than all the celebrities put together,” he told The Sun. “I’m not joking. All I have to do is talk to her and look at the floor and she goes, ‘What’s on the floor? What are you looking at the floor for?’

“When they do the trials, I think they need a camera just on Holly because she’ll be squirming.”

Willoughby attempted to convince her This Morning co-host Phillip Schofield that she has settled in to jungle life after batting away a fly during a video message.

“For somebody that’s not that brilliant with nature, I’m sort of fitting in OK,” she said. “I’ve seen a spider. I’m lifting up toilet seats wherever I go. I’m checking inside my shoes.

“I’ve done a Bushtucker Trial. Well, I haven’t done it, but I’ve watched one. Something’s just landed on my arm – eek!

“There’s things that land on you everywhere. They have flies that bite. Everything bites. Everything wants to eat you!”

Willoughby and Donnelly will welcome 10 unsuspecting celebrities into the camp on Sunday night for three weeks of rice and beans, critters and gruesome Bushtucker trials.

Nick Knowles, Anne Heggerty, James McVey and Harry Redknapp are among those heading in with Noel Edmonds rumoured to be a surprise guest.

The new on-air promo will air on ITV during tonight's episode of Coronation Street.
