Tonight (December 8) witnessed the return of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here's most spectacular Bushtucker Trial, the 'Celebrity Cyclone'.

Pitting the last four contestants against a slippery waterslide – where they have to crawl up it and keep hold of a yellow star to earn meals – the challenge sees them blasted by water cannons whilst massive spacehopper-like balls are crashed against them.

As if that's not enough, a pool's worth of water is then unloaded onto the slide just as the campers appear to have conquered the task. Did we mention the wind machines too?

Harry Redknapp, Doctor Who favourite John Barrowman, Fleur East and Emily Atack were the last remaining campers, so the trial was slightly altered to accommodate Barrowman's injury.

Barrowman basically stood there handing his teammates their stars, cackling on the sidelines like a hyperactive hyena. And it was pure comedy gold, Harry even began the trial by announcing "I want a wee!"

As the sodden campers managed to complete the trial just in the nick of time, co-presenter Declan Donnelly cried: "That was incredible!", with Barrowman responding: "Can we do it again?"

The Twitter community found the whole thing just as thrilling too, with post after post entering social media from those watching it all unfold.

Long live the cyclone!

I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! returns tomorrow (December 9) for the final episode at 9pm.
