Madden NFL 19 ’s release date has finally been confirmed! EA Sports announced Madden NFL 19 will release for both PS4 and Xbox One on Aug. 10, with the Hall of Fame Edition releasing Aug. 7. It also released information on what will be included in the enhanced Hall of Fame Edition.
Madden fans get early access to the game if they pick up the Hall of Fame Edition, and also receive some in-game bonuses. If you’re a fan of the Madden Ultimate Team (MUT) game mode, this version of Madden NFL 19 lets players choose an Elite Legend to start like Terrell Owens, Brian Urlacher, Rod Woodson, Dan Marino or Terrell Davis.
Players will also receive one Training Pack, 12 Gold Team Fantasy Packs and two Custom Uniforms in MUT.
Madden NFL 19 is poised to continue innovating player movements and presentation. EA revealed that this year’s game will include an upgrade to the running back system. Running backs in Madden 19 will be able to “push the pile” to get more yards and backs will have more dynamic cuts for backs for evading defenders.
The official Madden website teases more information but with E3 2018 coming up in a few weeks, expect an in-depth look at the game modes and features of Madden NFL 19 and the rest of EA Sports titles.
Last year, EA flipped the Madden formula on its head by introducing a story mode for the first time in franchise history. Will EA add another story in Madden NFL 19 ? We’ll have to wait and find out.
