Pop star Ariana Grande has posted a series of cryptic tweets suggesting that new music is on the way.

YouTube star and self-proclaimed “social media mogul”, Frankie Grande, also showed support for his sister’s new material by posting a Instagram photo with a teardrop as its caption.

Rapper and producer Pharrell Williams is also reported to have worked on the album as well as director, Dave Mayers, who has behing Kendrick Lamar’s Humble music video.

Fans quickly took to Twitter to celebrate the news and dissect the cryptic nature of Grande’s tweets.

Grande’s manager has confirmed that her new single will be released on Friday 20th April.
