A Trump supporter who allegedly banned a woman from staying in her rental home because of her race has been removed from Airbnb.
Californian Dyne Suh claimed a host she booked with through the home rental site cancelled her booking because she is Asian American.
Despite having confirmed a reservation at a winter cabin in Running Springs with her friends and fiancé, student Suh's booking was cancelled at the last minute – with the host allegedly telling her she would not rent her cabin to an Asian person.
Suh told NBC4 Los Angeles: "We were looking forward to it, especially with law school and working and being really busy. It was a welcome break."
However, during an exchange with the host en route, Suh says she was told she was no longer welcome to stay.
The host allegedly wrote to Suh: "I wouldn't rent to (you) if (you) were the last person on earth. One word says it all. Asian."
Race relations student Suh, who has been living in the US since she was three-years-old, took screenshots of the exchange between herself and the host and informed the woman she would be reporting the racist incident to Airbnb.
The host responded: "I will not allow this country to be told what to do by foreigners, it's why we have (T)rump."
The site has since banned the woman from being a host, with its spokesman Christopher Nulty saying in a statement: "We have worked to provide the guest with our full support and in line with our non-discrimination policy, this host has been permanently removed from the Airbnb platform."
