BBC One has confirmed when the last ever episode of Peter Kay's Car Share will air.
The final two episodes of the BAFTA-winning comedy, which stars Kay alongside Sian Gibson, first premiered to fans who attended a charity screening held by Kay to raise money for the Lily Foundation last month.
Worried fans who didn't have tickets were immediately reassured by the beeb that it would air the episodes on national television at a later date.
And now, the highly-anticipated series finale has finally been given a television slot by the BBC.
As revealed by the BBC Press Office on Twitter on Wednesday (May 16), the finale will air at 10pm on Monday May, 28.
It follows the release of Car Share: Unscripted, which aired earlier on the channel this month.
News of the finale's confirmed airdate follows Kay's announcement in December that his planned and sold out 2018 stand-up tour was cancelled due to "unforeseen family circumstances".

Despite the cancellation, Kay assured fans that the forthcoming special episodes of Car Share would not be affected and will still air in 2018.
Car Share follows John Redmond and Kayleigh Kitson, two colleagues forced to commute together in a supermarket car share scheme as they drive to and from work to the sounds of fictional radio station Forever FM.
Peter Kay's Car Share: The Finale will at 10pm on Monday May, 28 on BBC One.
