The weekend's snowfall may have since transformed into muddy slush across most of the capital but one corner of north-east London is keeping the dream alive with a rework of the snowball cocktail.

At Stoke Newington's Original Sin, the creamy Christmas classic – based on Warninks advocaat – is placed front centre on a special "Snowball Flight" designed to showcase the liqueur's versatility.

Three alternative twists on the snowball have been devised by Original Sin owner Ali Burgess for the flight: one with cava, another with sherry and the toasty third featuring warm mulled cider, and all served with a heavy dose of festive nostalgia.

£14 for the flight of three cocktails, Original Sin, 129 Stoke Newington High St, London N16 0PH
