Thor: Ragnarok hits cinemas next Tuesday promising a Thor vs Hulk smack down, a scary goddess of death and lots of Loki goodness. And of course, because it's the Marvel Cinematic Universe – easter eggs.

We'll be bringing you a guide to all the easter eggs in the movie once it's released (because spoilers), but ahead of the movie, Marvel head honcho Kevin Feige and Thor: Ragnarok director Taika Waititi have pointed out where you should be looking if you want to spot the best ones.

Don't worry, this isn't spoilerish. Yep this is your NO SPOILERS warning.

Talking to IGN, Feige spilled the beans.

"There might be some things in the trash piles. I mean, the biggest – the biggest Easter eggs are on the side of the Sakaaran Palace – right, Taika?

"There are – there are previous Grandmaster champions that we see, as one for Hulk is being constructed, and those are all sort of Easter eggs for the deeper comic universe – that may or may not ever show up in the cinematic universe, but we thought it'd be fun to celebrate."

As for Waititi, he's insistent that the best Easter Egg is just an actual egg.

"And in the trash pile, there is one Easter egg, an actual egg. If you were in – yeah, I mean, it's – it's one of the small ones – well, it's one of the tiny little chocolate ones, and it's the wide shot."

We suspect he's joking, but, hey, keep an eye out just in case.

The trailer released earlier this year actually hinted at some trash-pile easter eggs, including references to some characters from the wider MCU who we get a glimpse of.

Marvel characters Man-Thing (front and centre), Beta Ray Bill (below and to the left), Ares (straight across to the right) and Bi-Beast (directly below Ares) can be spotted on a totem pole which is located on the Planet Sakaar, where Jeff Goldblum's Grandmaster forces Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) and other beings to fight in the gladiatorial arena for his amusement.

Keep your eyes peeled, and don't forget to check out Hulk's bed, which is turns out is also an easter egg.

Thor: Ragnarok will be released on Tuesday, October 24.
