'Why should it bother me?': Paul Hollywood's girlfriend Summer Monteys-Fullam finally speaks out over 30-year age gap

Paul Hollywood’s girlfriend Summer Monteys-Fullam has finally spoken out about her relationship with the baker, addressing their 30-year age gap.

Summer Monteys-Fullam, 22, has been rumoured to be dating the Great British Bake Off star for months but has stayed tight-lipped about their controversial romance until now.

The former barmaid told the MailOnline: “I’m fine and I’m enjoying life. I’m not upset… I’m happy. Why should it [the age gap] bother me?

“There are many other people in the world with age gaps, and marriages and kids and everything else and I’m fine.”

Monteys-Fullam also told the publication that she “came way after” Hollywood’s marriage to wife Alexandra ended.

Hollywood, 52, announced he had split from his wife of 20 years in November 2017.

The couple have a son together, Josh, who was born in 2001.

The TV star briefly separated from his wife back in 2013 after he admitted to having an affair with Marcela Valladolid, who was his co-host on the short-lived US version of the show.

They reconciled after just a few months and Hollywood told fans that their marriage was back on track after making "the biggest mistake of my life".

Earlier this year, Hollywood deleted his Twitter account after being named by the New York Times as having followers purchased by a company.

He refused to comment on the claims at the time, adding “the account does not exist”.
