'Appalling' vandals target late Queen mural in Nuneaton for third time
'Appalling' vandals have targeted a mural of the late Queen in Nuneaton with a 'swastika' tag. The Williams family in the Bull Ring proudly commissioned the 'Three Lions' wall outside their home.
As well as England football heroes, the wall also has a portrait of the late HM Queen Elizabeth II. But vandals have struck - leaving a 'swastika' style tag on the former monach's image.
Sadly, Kate Williams told CoventryLive that it is the third time in less than three months that the image of the late Queen has been targeted.

"The first one was just before the Euro final in July and then twice since then," she said. "It really is appalling.
"Whatever their views they have no right to touch our property including the art we have commissioned and paid for."
As angered as the family is, Mrs Williams said that they will cover up the recent vandalism attack, but appealed to people not to give the suspects any further publicity on social media.
"Whatever the reason they are doing it, they don't deserve to have any clout for it," she said. "The first time we managed to get it covered before anyone noticed, then the second time, someone, we don't know who, very kindly covered it up for us.
"We will get this one covered up, but I think the best way to deal with these people (the vandals) is to silence them."
It was back in 2022 when the mural of the late Queen was added to the wall. Through this, money was raised for an ovarian cancer charity.
The Williams' 'Three Lions' mural wall has raised thousands of pounds through donations for good causes, paying for life-saving defibrillators as well as special bleed kits for the town.
