Appeal for help to trace man following incident on footbridge near hospital

Police are appealing for help to trace a man following an incident on a footbridge.

Cleveland Police has asked for the public’s help to trace a man following the incident on the Blue Bridge near James Cook Hospital in Middlesbrough. Officers were called to the scene at around 1.00pm, (Saturday, May 25) following concerns for a man.

It is believed that the man left the scene prior to police arrival. The man is described as a white male in his mid-20s with dark hair.

He was wearing a black and grey jumper and black trousers. It is believed a number of people assisted the man and police would ask them or the man to get in touch so they can check his welfare.
