A 13-year-old boy who was reported missing in Chislehurst has been “found safe and well”, police said on Wednesday evening.

The Metropolitan Police confirmed Zaid Sher had been located after going missing from his south London boarding school on Tuesday evening.

School staff and Zaid’s family raised the alarm after becoming increasingly worried about Zaid Sher’s whereabouts after he was last seen near his school at 9pm on May 10.

Police issued an appeal to help find the youngster, who has now been located.
