Appeal After Pregnant Teenager Goes Missing

Police are trying to trace a teenager who is 36 weeks pregnant and has not been seen since leaving hospital in Manchester.

Alisha Khan, 19, was taken to Royal Manchester Children's Hospital after she fainted while out shopping.

She went on to leave the hospital without treatment and was last seen at about 12.20am on Saturday.

Detective Sergeant Simon Halliwell, of Greater Manchester Police, said: "She left the hospital without treatment or checks and we are concerned she may have an ongoing condition that could harm her or the baby.

"We'd like Alisha to contact us to let us know she is OK."

Ms Khan, from Oldham, is described as mixed race, slimly-built and has brown eyes.

She usually has long, dark hair but is believed to currently have blonde hair tied back in a ponytail.

She was last seen wearing all black clothing, but is known to have a grey jacket and blue jeans with her.

She is known to visit the Dukinfield, Wythenshawe and Oldham areas.

Anyone with information should call police on 101.
