Appeal to trace two men after boy stabbed in West Bromwich High Street
A CCTV appeal to trace two men wanted in connection with a stabbing in West Bromwich has been launched by West Midlands Police. A 16-year-old boy was left with serious injuries following an attack in the town’s High Street shortly after 4.30pm on Wednesday, October 2.
He was treated by medics from West Midlands Ambulance Service and then taken to hospital. He has since been discharged. At the time a police cordon was placed around Peppers City Takeout.
Now West Midlands Police has issued images of two men officers would like to speak to. One man is black, with short black hair, clean-shaven and wearing a royal blue hooded top. The second man is black, with a beard and is wearing a black coat with the hood up, with a white stripe on the side of the hood.

A spokesperson for the West Midlands force in issuing the appeal said: “Do you know these two men? We want to speak to them after a teenager was stabbed on West Bromwich High Street on 2 October at around 4.30pm.
“The teenager was taken to hospital with serious injuries and has since been discharged. A 15-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and drugs offences. He has been bailed pending further enquiries."
The statement continued: “As part of our investigation we now want to speak to the two men in the image as we believe they may have information that could assist us. Anyone with any information is asked to contact us by calling 101 or via Live Chat on our website quoting 20/895927/24.”
