Apple, Nationwide and Jet2 recognised for their customer service at Which? Awards

Apple, Nationwide Building Society and Jet2 have been recognised for their customer service and "exemplary products".

The brands came top of the annual Which? Awards which took place on Wednesday.

Samsung took the award for Large Appliance Brand of the year with Bosch taking the top prize for Small Appliance Brand of the Year.

The Which? Awards are independent and decided by feedback from Which? members and also members of the public.

Best Bank Brand of the Year: Nationwide Building Society

Car Brand of the Year: Volvo

Insurance Provider of the Year: NFU Mutual

Utilities Provider of the Year: Utility Warehouse

Large Appliance Brand of the Year: Samsung

Small Home Appliance Brand of the Year: Bosch

Technology Brand of the Year: Apple

Retailer of the Year: Richer Sounds

Trusted Trader of the Year: Tincknell Heating

Positive Change Award: Paul Maynard MP

Jet2 took the award for travel brand of the year, becoming the first airline to win the category and was recognised for good customer service and timely compensation.

While Apple beat Lenovo and Samsung to top the Technology Brand of the Year category.

Peter Vicary-Smith, chief executive of Which? said that the awards reward brands that treat their customers well: "Since its inception, the Which? Awards has been committed to rewarding brands who have consistently put their customers first.

He added: “Which? Awards are not handed out to just anyone. This year’s winners have reached exceptional standards, delivering excellent products, services and value for money”.

MP Paul Maynard was handed the Positive Change Award, which celebrates individuals who tirelessly champion consumer rights.

He was recognised for his achievements to improve the rail industry.
