Apple TV+ has a busy month ahead in August with two new big-name dramas, the return of one of its best shows, and an intriguing new reality series.
The streaming platform has long prioritised delivering quality original content and this looks to continue in August with shows from Matt Damon, Casey Affleck, and Vince Vaughn amongst others. There is also true crime shows like Cowboy Cartel and the children's TV programme Yo Gabba GabbaLand! to enjoy this summer.

The Instigators | 9 August
Damon and Affleck star in this gritty heist drama, which follows reluctant partners Rory and Cobby as they team up to try and rob a corrupt politian of his ill-gained earnings. The desperate father and ex-con are then thrown into chaos when they become pursued by police, bureaucrats and vengeful crime bosses in the process.

The duo are completely out of their depth and they have to do all they can to stay alive, and with Rory's therapist (Hong Chau) in tow they must do whatever it takes to avoid capture. The series also stars Paul Walter Hauser, Alfred Molina, Toby Jones and Ron Perlman.
Pachinko | 23 August
The critically-acclaimed drama returns for its second season, continuing to tell the story of Sunja (Minha Kim, and Yuh-Jung Youn) and her quest to protect her family. Told across generations, and traversing Korea, Japan and America, the series begins by returning to Sunja as she begins life as a Korean immigrant in Japan on the precipice of war.
When her former love Hansu (Lee Minho) unexpectedly returns, Sunja begins to question the life she has made for herself with husband Isak (Steve Sanghyun Noh). Alongside her story, viewers will learn more about her grandson Solomon (Jin Ha) as he navigates the hardships of a post-bubble Japan.
Bad Monkey | 14 August
Vince Vaughn plays Andrew Yancy, a former officer of Miami Police Department who has become a health inspector in the Keys. When an arm is found by tourists, Andrew sees the opportunity as his ticket back into Miami PD he just has to solve the case and content with the titular bad monkey in the process.
