Anticipation is currently sky-high over the release of the new iPhone, which is set for release in a matter of weeks.
The latest in Apple's smartphone will hit shelves towards the end of the month, following weeks of rumours and leaks.
But along with a slew of new features and upgrades comes a mode which the company claims can help you take better selfies of your pets.
Yes, a 'pet portrait mode' available on the iPhone 11 will supposedly identify animal faces better than ever before - which is good news for everyone, really.
The new phone boasts a dual-lens camera on the back, consisting of a 12MP wide lens and a 12MP ultra-wide lens, which are said to work together on Portrait Mode to recognise non-human faces better than previous generations ever did.
Previously, Portrait Mode only properly worked on humans, but the new camera has been designed to work better for animals too. All you need to work out now is how to get them to stay still long enough for that perfect selfie.

To add to the dual-lens capabilities, users can adjust the photo using Portrait Lighting to change the light intensity while the new Night Mode will automatically change your camera tech to shoot good low-lighting photography. In addition, a new Mono portrait effect will help update photo aesthetics too.
As well, the front camera has a new 12MP true depth camera to take wide-angle selfies, whilst a slo mo video also features.

While many are saying they can already take stunning photos of their pets (and animals), the new 'pet portrait mode', along with the updates to the filter settings, will undoubtedly make these sort of photos easier to take and give them peak Insta-style.
The new iPhone 11 will also sport a 6.1-inch LCD screen with True Tone display.
Prices for the new iPhone 11 will start from £699, cheaper than last year's iPhone XR at £749. The device is available to pre-order on Friday September 13 and will ship next week on Friday September 20.
