Lord Sugar has whittled down his potential business partners once again in The Apprentice tonight (November 22).

This week saw Lord Sugar surprise the candidates at their home as he revealed this week's saw both teams setting up their own company from scratch, bagging business from owners to groom or train their pets.

The teams fought it out between themselves for either a pampering dog spa or a training centre which Lord Sugar made available to them.

Both tried to impress the spa manager for use of their facilities, with Graphene's Joanna making no bones (pun intended) about how she knew absolutely nothing about dogs. Vitality came across a little better when meeting the manager and with both sides chasing the spa, Vitality was eventually selected because Joanna "didn't come across as a dog lover".

That left Team Graphene with the dog training centre, "a close second for us" in Elizabeth's words. Varying prices for the service upset customers who then refused to pay any more for extra products that were on offer.

Andrew causes problems once again, letting a swear word slip in during his pitching on a potential job to clean up the grounds of a posh wedding venue, with Sarah Lynn outraged: "I didn't think it went well… Andrew swore in front of the client which mortified me."

They ended up winning the contract, but Sarah Lynn still looked concerned.

Attention then turned to a photoshoot for a charity which the teams put forward their services for; more confusion over pricing for Vitality made things tricky. Bushra's drop of an initial £250 proposal to £150 for Graphene wasn't much better, either.

As the day of work arrived with 11 hours of hard graft ahead, Graphene set to all the appointments they'd booked, whilst Vitality tried to book more to boost the money they could earn.

A photoshoot Vitality are conducting ends in disaster when Anisa's overexcitement rubs off on the dogs, making it even harder to get a decent picture of the animals all sitting still.

Both teams also carry out a mobile service with varying degrees of success (Charles - "I am a turd catcher, come to me turds").

And so Graphene and Vitality return to the Boardroom to face top dog Lord Sugar to find out how much money their respective businesses have made.

Charles didn't get resounding support when his team were asked if he was a good Project Manager, whilst Lord Sugar picked up on how Graphene failed to win multiple bids during the task, and the conflicting pricing offered to customers.

Despite that, Graphene made more money and won the task, leaving Vitality heading back into the Boardroom.

Charles blamed muddled pitching and pricing for the team's failure, before bringing Anisa and Andrew back in with him.

Raising the swearing in the pitch, Lord Sugar told Andrew: "You come across to me as immature. The swearing, I don't like that at all, I did warn you about it."

"You want my honest opinion, I think you are here maybe four or five years too early. I don't think you are ready yet" before then firing him.

He then turned his attention to Anisa, telling her she's had eight weeks' opportunity to show him what she can do - and hasn't delivered - before firing her.

But the bloodbath didn't end there, with Lord Sugar telling Charles: "I'm looking for a business partner who leads. I don't want a consultant telling me after the event why my investment has gone down the pan."

"So I wish you the best of luck, but Charles, you're fired." Woah.

The remaining candidates received a phone call to the house announcing that no-one would be returning, as the numbers dropped to eight left standing.

Speaking to his aides Karren Brady and Claude Littner after the shock triple firing, Lord Sugar said: "I have to close my eyes and try to envisage these people in business with me, and in all three cases I couldn't see it."

The Apprentice continues next Wednesday (November 29) on BBC One.
