The Apprentice fans furious as episode is delayed by Theresa May
If Prime Minister Theresa May didn't have enough problems on her hands these days, she's now managed to infuriate legions of passionate The Apprentice fans too.
The PM was probably a bit too distracted fighting for her political future ahead of a No Confidence Vote on Wednesday night (December 12), to pay much attention to the TV schedules, although maybe her team should have kept a closer eye.
The BBC was forced change its schedules at the last minute when the No Confidence Vote results were scheduled to be read out at 9pm. As any Apprentice fans will know, that's the same time as the reality competition airs on BBC One!
BREAKING APPRENTICE due to the vote of no confidence there is a posibility tonights episode 11 will be delayed or resheduled. @bbcapprentice
- Lord Sugar (@Lord_Sugar) December 12, 2018
Now, fans did have some warning of a possible schedule change hours, when Lord Sugar himself warned: "BREAKING APPRENTICE due to the vote of no confidence there is a posibility tonights episode 11 will be delayed or resheduled. @bbcapprentice"
Many Apprentice fans were still demanding the Tories hurry their vote along anyway so they could see Lord Sugar and his associates grill Camilla, Daniel, Khadija, Sabrina and Sian ahead of this weekend's finale promptly at 9pm.
That didn't happen, since the announced that Theresa May had won the majority vote crossed into the 9pm hour. Then, all hell broke loose!

The delay lasted a whole five-minutes before The Apprentice started airing as normal, but those five minutes were clearly the equivalent of being fired in the Interviews round for fans.
Earlier in the day, Lord Sugar caused controversy of his own for swearing live on Good Morning Britain, so it was definitely a memorable day for fans of the show!
