Apprentice's Stuart 'The Brand' Baggs Found Dead

Stuart Baggs, who appeared on The Apprentice in 2010, has been found dead on the Isle of Man.

The news was confirmed to Sky News by the 27-year-old's telecoms firm on the island, Blue Wave Communications.

Mr Baggs, who became known as The Brand during his time on the show, was discovered at a property in Douglas on Thursday morning.

His death was "sudden and unexpected", said a police spokeswoman, but there was nothing "to indicate that his death is criminally suspicious".

She added: "Police again confirm that at this time there is nothing obvious to indicate the cause of his untimely death and inquiries will continue."

The entrepreneur appeared in the series won by Stella English, and with familiar Apprentice hyperbole announced he was already a "brand".

Other memorable quotes include "Everything I touch turns to sold" and "I don't sit anywhere but the top".

In one episode he successfully led to his team to victory, deciding on a motor racing theme for the task.

But the programme showed some of the team infuriated at his decision to take a test drive around Brands Hatch while they worked.

Lord Sugar tweeted: "Terrible news Stuart Baggs has died. My sincere condolences to his family and friends RIP one of the stand out characters of the apprentice."

In an interview last week with an Isle of Man newspaper, Mr Baggs said: "I work, as my hair will tell you, at least 18 hours a day.

"I sleep for four hours religiously, I would not have it any other way, like Margaret Thatcher."

Mr Baggs was the youngest ever candidate on the show when he appeared and said he had started his business career selling yo-yos in the playground.

He made it to the penultimate stage, the interviews with Lord Sugar's advisers, where he was knocked out.
