If you aren't already excited about Aquaman, DC is making damn sure you are by the end of this week.

Ahead of the release of Justice League, Warner Bros and DC are launching an Aquaman week as part of the marketing campaign to drum up support for the fish-talking superhero.

After all, most of the promo has been focused on characters such as Batman and Wonder Woman, so it makes sense that they want to try and get people hyped about Jason Momoa's character.

It could also be that they want to try and prove that this incarnation of Aquaman is not the silly character that we've all come to know in the comics; and with the King of Atlantis set to get his own film next year, the aggressive take on the character may need to win over fans.

Momoa introduced the events by revealing that they will take a "deep dive into what makes Aquaman a true master of the ocean and an all-time legend of the DC universe".

We don't know what they actually have planned, so keep your eyes peeled. Will we think he's cool by the end of the week, though? Who knows.

Aquaman's solo outing is currently in production, though it sounds like things are proving more tricky to film than originally thought.

Meanwhile, a new trailer for Justice League recently dropped, and certainly blew Marvel's recent efforts out of the water.

Justice League will be released on November 17, while Aquaman will hit screens on December 21, 2018.
