ARC's Fogarty sees expanded role

Jan. 24—Addiction Recovery Care announced ARC Healthcare Chief Operating Officer Pat Fogarty will see a role expansion.

Fogarty will serve as the General Manager of Behavioral Health for ARC Healthcare.

According to a news release from ARC, Fogarty will focus on hospital operations and other upcoming service lines ARC Healthcare plans to add as the organization grows.

Fogarty has been with ARC since 2020.

"We have seen a dramatic increase in mental health needs over the last few years and have adapted programs to serve this population that is often neglected," Fogarty said. "I'm excited about having the opportunity to expand our continuum of care to meet these needs of more individuals seeking help, and I personally have a renewed sense of purpose for improving mental health outcomes in Kentucky and beyond."

In his roles, Fogarty oversees ARC's addiction treatment and recovery division, hospital division, clinical and medical departments, residential treatment centers, rural health, outpatient programs, revenue cycle, pharmacy and health information systems.

Prior to his time at ARC, Fogarty worked in leadership at The Healing Place in Louisville. He also worked at Alkermes, a national biopharmaceutical company.

"Pat's experience and career speaks for itself," said Matt Brown, Chief Administration Officer of ARC and President of ARC Healthcare. "... In 2024, ARC Healthcare will bring a new era of psychiatric care to Kentucky, and there is no one better than Pat to lead those efforts."
