An Arctic blast is set to sweep the UK bringing a -4C chill. That is according to latest weather maps from WX Charts.

It forecasts that Friday, October 11 will see temperatures plummet to below zero, reports the Mirror. It could being some snow for parts of Scotland. As we head into October, the weather across Coventry and Warwickshire is going to be mixed, the latest local Met Office report states.

Today (September 30) is set to start off with heavy rain. But it will not be a repeat of the heavy deluges we saw at the end of last week, which led to flooded roads across the region.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday

A generally dry end to the week with sunny/clear periods interspersed with occasional cloudier spells. Often chilly by night with patchy fog but daytime temperatures near average. Relatively light winds.
