Are Ruth Langsford And Eamonn Holmes Joining Strictly Come Dancing?

Ruth Langsford has just dropped a huge hint that she is set to sashay onto Strictly Come Dancing with her husband Eamonn Holmes when it returns to BBC One later this year.

The 56-year-old TV star was quizzed by This Morning presenters Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby via video link as she sat in the Loose Women studio today and all but confirmed it.

Phillip probed: “We were going to ask him about the rumours that you and Eamonn would do Strictly… But seeing as though you are there?”

Ruth giggled before she answered: “Would I? Well I can’t reveal that can I…? You’re not allowed to say if you are or you’re not.”

And when Phillip asked: “Can you dance?” Ruth teased: “Of course I can dance. You’ve seen me at the office party.”

Craig joined Phillip and Holly later and added: “Wouldn’t it be great to have a husband and wife team on the show. They should make it happen, I would love to see it.”

But said he is only told who has been selected “about an hour before it’s released”.

Meanwhile, Ruth and Eamonn could be joined by pop star Anastacia, former Coronation Street hunk Ryan Thomas and Geordie Shore’s Charlotte Crosby, who are all said to be keen to dance under the giant glitter ball.
