Yahoo News Argos Black Friday deals 2017: 14 days of sales and best offers in the UK
With Black Friday in full swing, shoppers are keeping their eyes peeled for brilliant bargains from top retailers.
Retail giant Argos has treated customers to a 14-day Black Friday sale, which started on November 15 and will run until Cyber Monday (November 27).
The retailer's main sale kicked off three hours early at 9pm on November 23, featuring its biggest and best bargains.
In previous years, Argos launched its Black Friday deals right after midnight on the event date.
From TVs and video games to health and beauty, there are more than 60,000 discounted products available from brands such as Phillips, Samsung, Xbox and PS4.
Offers include up to half price off toys and buy one get one half price on selected jewellery lines.
You can also receive 25 per cent off indoor furniture when you spend over £150 using the code FURN25.
In 2016, the Argos website received more than 12 million visits in less than a day on Black Friday – and this year the retailer expects the annual sales event to be dominated again by digital platforms.
John Rogers, CEO of Argos, said: “Last year’s Black Friday was the biggest and most successful shopping day ever for Argos, with the first hours seeing the largest amount of online traffic in our history.
“We have been busy preparing for the Black Friday period for many months now, ensuring our digital channels, stores and distribution centres are all geared up in anticipation for high levels of demand for what we expect to be fantastic deals across must-have products. “
