Sky's innovative Glass TV is changing the game for UK households with its dish-free, internet-powered streaming service.

Currently on offer, this 4K screen delivers sports, movies, and entertainment straight to your living room, and its easy setup has made it a hit.

However, Sky Glass does come with a catch - adding extra channels can bump up the monthly cost to £26, potentially leading to higher bills.

But now there's Freely, a new player in the streaming market that won't cost you a penny. Launched just last month, Freely comes packed with features like a comprehensive TV planner, live pause capability, and personalised recommendations.

It even offers a Mini Guide for a quick peek at what's currently on and next. For those enticed by the prospect of free live TV streaming without an aerial, numerous TVs now come with Freely pre-installed, mirroring Sky Glass's approach. These TVs are gaining traction fast, reports the Mirror.

Retail giant Argos recently announced price reductions on these cutting-edge TVs, and it seems customers can't get enough. Some Freely-equipped models are listed as "in demand" and "selling fast."

Take, for example, the Hisense 50 Inch 50E78NQTUK Smart 4k UHD HDR TV. Its launch price earlier this month was £599 but that's already been slashed to just £379. • SEE THE DEAL HERE

If that sounds a bit big for your living room there's also a deal on the Hisense 43-inch Freely television which is now just £329 - down from £519 • SEE THE DEAL HERE

There are plenty more Freely-powered screens available as well - see the full list below:

These new TVs are clearly enticing but remember they can't match the might of Sky Glass. Bonus features on Sky's connected telly include the ability to save shows to watch at a later date, personalised recommendations and full integration with all the best streaming platforms such as Netflix.

There are also more live channels to watch and Sky Glass gets a soundbar built-in for improved audio.

Right now, you can get Sky Glass for as little as £11 per month thanks to a new sale launched by the firm. Full details below.
