Ariana Grande And Ricky Alvarez Split

There’s been another sad split in the celebrity world, with reports that Ariana Grande and Ricky Alvarez have gone their separate ways.

The singer and her back-up dancer dated for around a year, first being linked last summer when footage of *that* doughnut-licking scandal emerged.

Though the footage obviously focused on the doughnut scandal itself, it also showed Ariana and Ricky sharing a kiss.

It seems their romance is now sadly over though, with a source confirming the update to E! News: “She broke up with him. He didn’t cheat or anything, they just found it difficult to make it work. They are still friends though.”

The source added that Ariana is “happy to be single and do her for a little while.”

According to Entertainment Tonight, the ‘Focus’ singer has deleted all traces of Ricky from Instagram, and hinted at the split on Twitter at the weekend.

In one since-deleted message, she wrote: “Change. feelin free. happy. Banginnnnnnn”.

In other messages, which have not been erased, she told fans: “Life is wild”, later adding: “and change is f**king fantastic”.

Ariana then tweeted: “why do y'all always gotta be right about everything. I love you. ty for loving me and caring and having my best interest at heart. I love u. [sic]”.
