Ariana Grande fans confused by Spice Girls tribute
Who doesn't know the Spice Girls? I mean, they were THE girl band of the '90s. They caused a wave of fans to brazenly risk broken ankles in platform heels and cut boys down to size in the playground with their simple chant of 'Girl Power'.
But as Ariana Grande sadly discovered this week, there's a whole wave of young fans who just aren't familiar with all things Spice.
The 24-year-old tweeted lyrics this week to the Spice Girls iconic 1996 hit Say You'll Be There, posting: "I'm........ giving you evvvvvverything."
And then: "alll that joooooooy can bring, this i swear."
But many of her fans were just left confused by the posts, with some even assuming they were lyrics to new music by Ariana.
One fan tweeted: "SIS ARE THESE LYRICS? SPILL THE GOD DAMN TEA."

Ariana quickly responded, tweeting: "omg they're spice girls lyrics not A4 tea am i old?"
Yes, Ariana. Apparently we're all old now. So if you need us, we're going to be listening to the first Spice Girls album on a Discman, sat in an inflatable chair, sipping on Sunny D.
Like the good old days.
