Ariana Grande makes UK chart history with latest number one
Congratulations are most definitely in order for Ariana Grande right now.
The US superstar reached a huge milestone this week as she made UK chart history with her two latest singles.
Per BBC, this week, Ariana officially became the first female artist in the history of the UK singles chart history to boot herself from the number one spot. Yep, the star kicked herself from the top of the charts after 'Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I'm Bored' replaced '7 Rings'.
But her other single didn't go too far, as '7 Rings' is still sitting pretty at number two.
That also makes her only the second female artist to take up the top two spots at the same time. Madonna's the only other artist to accomplish such a feat, so it's safe to say she's not exactly in bad company.
And that's not even all, either.
In addition to that big achievement, the album Thank U, Next – which Ariana released on February 8 – has broken the record for the most streams of an album by a female artist in a single week.
She beat herself there too, as the star previously held the record with her 2018 album Sweetener. Not bad. Not bad at all.

These are just the latest in a record breaking streak for the star.
Last year, the music video for the single 'thank u, next' shattered YouTube Premiere records.
Way to go, Ari!
