Ariana Grande has said she was in tears as her older brother married his partner in a spectacular Star Wars-themed wedding.

Broadway star Frankie Grande, 39, said “I do” to Hale Leon at the Grande’s family home in Florida in a lavish ceremony officiated by mother Joan Grande, 64.

The Celebrity Big Brother alum and his husband wore Dolce and Gabbana suits for the nuptials which included guests dressed in the costumes of characters from the Star Wars franchise.

Now his proud singer sister confessed she had been “crying” at the wedding.

She revealed in the comments section beneath Instagram photographs: “Crying again! I love you both so so very much.”

Her emotions continued to run high as she shared her own tribute to the happy couple on Instagram Stories.

She wrote: "Two very incredible and cosmically destined souls... Wishing you endless lifetimes of happiness and health and copious amounts of video games."

Addressing her new brother-in-law Hale in her post, she continued: "I adore you. You are the most happy-making and divine addition to all of our lives.

"Thank you for loving him the way that you do. It’s all I’ve ever wanted for him."

For his part, the newly wed Mr Grande told his followers: “I’m the happiest I’ve ever been. I’m married to the man of my dreams, our families have merged together so beautifully and we are well on our way to happily ever after.”

At the wedding, even a little dog they posed with for pictures looked like Star Wars character Chewbacca.
