Arizona's Sawmill Fire Grows to 20,000 Acres Overnight

Arizona’s Sawmill Fire grew to 20,000 acres overnight and was seven percent contained on Wednesday, April 26. The wildfire was burning along Highway 83, jumping the road and forcing it to be closed.

More evacuation orders were issued for about 100 people on Tuesday, according to a report. Winds were driving the fire, which grounded helicopters and tanker planes on Tuesday, the report said.
