Armed police swarm street as men with 'weapons' attack home
Armed police swarmed a street after a group of men, possibly armed with weapons, attacked a home. Cheshire Police received a report at 6.50pm on Monday (September 16) of a disturbance outside the address in the Grangemoor area of Runcorn.
Local officers, supported by the armed policing alliance and National Police Air Service (NPAS), attended the scene and a large number of people were present. One person is reported to have sustained minor injuries during the incident, but they did not require hospital treatment.

Detective Chief Inspector Rob McLoughlin said: "I understand the concern this incident is likely to cause, and I would like to reassure residents that this is believed to be isolated, and there is not believed to be any risk to the wider community.
"Patrols have been stepped up in the area and I would urge anyone with any concerns or information to speak to an officer."
