Army Officials Assess Puerto Rico Power Line Damage

US Army Corps of Engineers and Puerto Rico electricity officials flew over the east side of Puerto Rico on Wednesday, October 18, to assess the damage to power lines following Hurricane Maria.

About 19 percent of Puerto Rico’s power had been restored as of Wednesday, according to the government’s website. A CNN report said the number of people without power remained at about 3 million while 1 million were still without running water.
