What Arne Slot did when Vitezslav Jaros came on as Liverpool man speaks out on replacing Alisson
Vitezslav Jaros admitted it was a "brilliant feeling" making his full Liverpool debut in the 1-0 win over Crystal Palace after the Chechia international replaced the injured Alisson Becker in the second half.
Jaros impressed during a loan spell at Storm Graz last season, winning the domestic double in Austria. But he was only on the bench after Caoimhin Kelleher fell ill on Friday and failed to travel to Selhurst Park.
Diogo Jota's first half goal sealed all three points for the Reds but they were left hanging on at times in the second half as Palace pushed for an equaliser, but Jaros stood firm in the Liverpool goal to ensure the clean sheet and victory.

He told LFCTV: "It's a brilliant feeling, something you dream of as a kid. Coming on is a bit stressful, coming on as a keeper, especially in a game like this when it was up and down until the end, but I managed to keep a clean sheet and get the three points."
And asked what Arne Slot told him before he entered the field of play, Jaros said the Liverpool head coach kept things simple and it was an approach that worked in a 'stressful' situation.
"Not much really, and I think it's better because your head is racing already because everyone is speaking around you and you're putting your shinpads on and everything so they didn't say much," he added.
