Around £150,000 worth of cannabis seized at Dumfries and Galloway port
Around £150,000 worth of cannabis has been seized at the port at Cairnryan.
Police searched a vehicle at Loch Ryan Port at around 10.30pm on Sunday and discovered around 15 kilos of the drug.
A 25-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection to the find and was due to appear at Stranraer Sheriff Court on Monday.

Detective Inspector Gary Ferguson said: “Those who attempt to introduce drugs into our communities for personal gain should be in no doubt that we will use every possible resource to disrupt this activity.
“This seizure reinforces our ongoing commitment to the serious and organised crime taskforce and the country’s serious and organised crime strategy.”
