Arrest made over death of man near Livingston primary school
A suspect has been arrested in connection with the death of a man as part of a murder investigation in West Lothian.
Gary Nicol was found seriously injured in Bankton Lane, Livingston, at around 2am on Thursday 26 September.
Emergency crews attended but the 50-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene near Williamston Primary School.
After a post-mortem examination, Police Scotland continued to treat the death as "unexplained".
A murder probe was subsequently launched after a team of specialist officers carried out further enquiries.
In an update on Friday, Police Scotland confirmed a 25-year-old man had been arrested in connection with Mr Nicol's death.
