Arrests were made during a crackdown on anti-social behaviour on Soho Road. Police, together with a host of partner agencies, carried out an operation on the busy main road where they also assisted the homeless.

During the patrol, a 35-year-old woman who was wanted on recall to prison was arrested. A 22-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply.

A 19-year-old man was arrested for obstructing police, and for being in possession of Class A drugs. With the snow falling, and colder temperatures, the team also supported the homeless and a local foodbank.

Running from 18 to 22 November, ASB Awareness Week aims to encourage communities to take a stand against ASB and highlight the actions that can be taken by those experiencing it.

Sgt Dale Curtis, from the Soho Road Neighbourhood Team, said: "People shouldn’t have to visit the area and be intimidated in any way. Any form of anti-social behaviour is unacceptable, and will not be tolerated.

"We will continue to work with the partner agencies to continue the operation, and support the community."
