Arrests Made During Protest Near Portland Police Precinct
Portland police arrested several people during a protest near the city’s East Precinct on the night of August 5-6.
Police declared the protest a riot after “serious ongoing criminal behavior,” including starting a fire and damaging the glass doors of the precinct building.
August 5-6 marked the 70th night of anti-racism protest in Portland, according to local media.
