New arrivals still to come to Liverpool ONE including Montirex, UNIQLO and Zara
Liverpool ONE has welcomed an array of big names this year. A number of pop-up shops saw thousands of people flock to the shopping complex including The Collection Cosmetics, SHEIN, and Sisters and Seekers.
Liverpool ONE recently welcomed back alternative fashion brand All Saints and launched brand new arrival Flight Club at Chavasse Park. There are still plenty of changes to come including expansions, relocations and potentially a first for the city.
Zara is currently doubling its store size and a planning application by Japanese clothing brand UNIQLO has been submitted to occupy the building formerly used by Tessuti. Below are some of the confirmed changes to Liverpool ONE.
ZARA
Zara is undergoing an expansion that will see it almost double in size. To accommodate new facilities and technologies, Zara will jump from its current 27,000 sq ft unit to 42,000 sq ft. The revamped store is expected to open later this year.
Montirex
Technical outdoor and sportswear brand Montirex is to open its first physical store. Montirex moves into a 3,000 sq ft space within the shopping complex, stocking menswear and womenswear collections, as well as a range of items exclusive to the store.
The shop will also provide a central hub for the Montirex community with the hosting of regular events and visits from sponsored athletes. Montirex's opening is confirmed for autumn.
UNIQLO
A planning application has been submitted to the city council by Japanese clothing company UNIQLO. Following the closure of designer firm Tessuti’s flagship store earlier this summer, the venue on Paradise Street has remained vacant.
Documents submitted by UNIQLO indicate the brand looks keen to occupy the major plot within the city’s shopping and leisure complex.
As per the application form, the iconic fashion brand has sought at least five years for the signage to be in place but no date has been confirmed as to a potential opening for the shop.
Victoria's Secret
Victoria's Secret is moving from its home on Lower South John Street in Liverpool ONE to a new unit directly opposite, next to Hollister. The swap will see the shop utilise a 4,000 sq ft space after a "significant investment from the brand."
The reopening, which is expected in early October, will see an "incredible" new store design. The current Victoria's Secret shop is still open for customers to use until then.
Once Victoria Secret finalises its move, the current shop, which is made up of three combined units, will each be available for potential brands.
And a few new arrivals include...
Flight Club
Interactive entertainment facility and cocktail bar Flight Club is preparing to open in Liverpool ONE's Chavasse Park. The venue is based around darts, with "immersive games" and technology that automatically scores by tracking every dart.
The venue boasts 16 semi-private oches arranged over two floors, two bars, a ground-floor outdoor terrace, a mezzanine seating area overlooking all the action below and a first-floor balcony looking out towards Chavasse Park.
All Saints
All Saints has returned to the city with a new home on Peter's Lane, the same unit previously occupied by Ted Baker menswear. All Saints previously lived in a .3,000 sq ft space on Upper South John Street before departing several years ago. The unit is used today by the activewear brand Under Armour, which opened its doors in Liverpool ONE in 2022.
