Starz also stated the production hasn't needed to be shut down because of the accident, which isn't surprising because Amell admitted that, after a crew member on the show contracted coronavirus (COVID-19), he himself contracted the virus.

Speaking about how they only needed one day before re-arranging filming to work around his isolation, Amell said: "What they were able to do is mind boggling, quite frankly.

"It just goes to show that they were prepared for it, but not everyone has the luxury of taking two weeks off."

Heels is an eight-episode series that will explore the lives of a group of people in a small community in Georgia who want to make it in the world of independent professional wrestling. A planned release window has not been announced.
