Yahoo News Arrow's latest episode drops major hint that John Diggle will become Green Lantern
The latest episode of Arrow dropped a major hint that John Diggle will finally become the Green Lantern.
As seen in the Elseworlds crossover, the John Diggle of Earth-90 was heavily implied to be the Green Lantern, leading Arrow fans to further suspect that there is potential for the real John Diggle to become the Arrowverse's very own Green Lantern (a classic DC character who has had the alias John Stewart).
And now, there's even more proof that Diggle (David Ramsey) will soon fulfil that destiny.
Who knows? He may even get his very own CW spin-off soon enough...

In the most recent Arrow episode, 'Spartan', fans were introduced to John Diggle's stepfather, who just so happens to be called General Stewart (Ernie Hudson).
As it turned out, John and his stepfather have been estranged for years, but their recent reconciliation now has fans convinced that John will either revert back to Stewart as his original surname or adopt the name to honour his stepfather.

Either way, the revelation further fuels the theory that John Diggle will soon evolve into the Green Lantern/John Stewart – which is pretty exciting news, as Diggle has been a long-time Arrow fan favourite.
