Arsenal are facing an injury crisis heading into Saturday’s FA Cup Final after losing centre-backs Laurent Koscielny and Gabriel in their 3-1 win over Everton at the Emirates.

Standard Sport also understands that Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is now rated as touch-and-go to take the Wembley field against Chelsea as he looks to overcome the hamstring injury that has ruled him out since May 10.

Koscielny is certain to miss the Final having received a straight red card from referee Michael Oliver for his horror tackle on Everton forward Enner Valencia early in the first half of Sunday’s game.

To add to Arsene Wenger’s worries Gabriel was stretchered off in the second half with what appeared to be a knee injury, his left foot having caught Valencia as he slid to win a 50-50.

"Gabriel overstretched his knee and will have a scan on Monday," Wenger confirmed to reporters. "We’ll see the damage. It doesn’t look too good for next Saturday, to be honest."

Club captain Per Mertesacker replaced the Brazilian whilst Shkodran Mustafi (illness) and Kieran Gibbs (thigh) are expected to return to the squad in time for the clash with Antonio Conte’s champions.

Arsenal’s victory was academic in terms of their chase for the top four, with victories for Liverpool and Manchester City leaving Wenger’s side without a hope of catching either side and securing Champions League qualification.
