Arsenal fans turned on each as violence erupted inside the Emirates Stadium during the Gunners' clash with Manchester City.

Footage emerged showing what appeared to be three men scuffle with each other in the stands.

The video, posted on Twitter, showed the short-live scrap broken up by onlookers who were forced to pull the men apart before stewards intervened.

It was not clear what the fight was over as Arsene Wenger’s squad drew 2–2 with Pep Guardiola’s men at full time.

Speaking about the incident, Wenger, who faces an uncertain future at the north London club, told the Standard: “I’m not aware of what happened.

"I think what is important in football is what happens inside the pitch and inside the stadium.

"I feel the fans were absolutely outstanding today."

Protests broke out outside the ground amid calls from fans for the Frenchman to be ousted.
