Celtic hero Kieran Tierney could be on the lookout for a new club after being told Arsenal will consider offers for him.

The left-back, who turns 27 on Wednesday, will be an integral part of Steve Clarke's Scotland squad at the Euros this summer, but less so at the Emirates, where he spent much of last season on loan at Real Sociedad,

While Tierney is contracted until 2026, he clearly doesn't fit into Mikel Arteta's plans, with the London Evening Standard saying the Muirhouse man is one of four players that could leave this summer, should the right offer come in.

While linking midfielder Emile Smith-Rowe with a move to Fulham, the Standard said: "Arsenal will also consider offers for other fringe players like Eddie Nketiah, Aaron Ramsdale and Kieran Tierney".

That could put Celtic on high alert to make a move that would prove very popular with fans, and boss Brendan Rodgers was quoted as saying "never say never" when asked about a possible return for Tierney.

However, the Scottish champions would face competition from England and abroad for the talented defender's signature.
