Arsenal news: Departing Ivan Gazidis calls for unity ahead of AC Milan move

Ivan Gazidis has called on Arsenal supporters to put past divisions behind them and unite behind new head coach Unai Emery as the club’s chief executive prepares to leave for AC Milan.

The 54-year-old joined new head of football Raul Sanllehi and managing director Vinai Venkatesham at a fans’ forum event prior to yesterday’s 2-0 win over Everton at Emirates Stadium.

A spokesman attending on behalf of the Arsenal Supporters’ Trust said: “It was fantastic to engage with Raul and Vinai on what was only their sixth day in their new roles. Ivan Gazidis officially handed over the fans forum to them and called for unity between supporters and the new officials as they work hard to take the club forward.”
