Arsenal face Ostersund in the second leg of their round of 32 Europa League tie on Thursday but eyes are already on three days later and the EFL Cup Final.

Arsene Wenger’s side claimed a 3-0 win from the first leg in central Sweden, meaning he will be free to keep some of his best players in reserve and give youngsters such as Joe Willock and Reiss Nelson another chance to shine.

Wenger has already received a major boost ahead of Sunday’s clash with Manchester City after Aaron Ramsey joined first-team training. The Welsh midfielder will be among those who are left out of the Ostersund clash but there is cause for optimism that he could play a role in the final.
