Arsenal player ratings vs Newcastle as one scores a dismal 3/10 and many 5’s in 1-0 defeat

David Raya - Dealt with several balls well and offered up a much more convincing performance. 6.

Ben White - An average performance but improvement on the West Ham game. Decent block on Gordon in the first half. 6.

Gabriel - Unfortunate for the goal, but Gabriel still showcased his dependability throughout most of the game. 7.

William Saliba - Arsenal’s standout defender in the game, Saliba was exceptional with his positioning and clearances. 8.

Takehiro Tomiyasu - Put in a decent shift in the match but struggled against Trippier at times.6.

Declan Rice - Had a solid game, providing stability in midfield and making key contributions including progressing the ball forward well. 6.

Jorginho - Was relatively composed in midfield without creating anything noteworthy. 6.

Kai Havertz - Had a poor game and was fortunate to avoid a red card after a risky challenge on Longstaff. 3.

Bukayo Saka - Delivered an overall average performance and wasn’t able to influence the game in his usual way. 5.

Eddie Nketiah - Despite being isolated, Nketiah put in a commendable effort to contribute to the team’s attack. 6.

Gabriel Martinelli - Struggled in the second half against the excellent Tino Livramento, but had Arsenal’s best chance of the game in the first half. 5.

Oleksandr Zinchenko - Zinchenko made a decent impact coming off the bench, contributing positively with a few decent crosses. 6.

Fabio Vieira - Vieira had limited impact on the game. 5.
