Arsenal can close to within five points of Premier League leaders Chelsea with victory over Burnley at Emirates Stadium this afternoon.

The Gunners comfortably beat rock-bottom Swansea 4-0 in south Wales last weekend, but Chelsea, who play later on Sunday moved eight points ahead of Arsene Wenger's men with a 3-0 victory over champions Leicester.

Arsenal currently occupy fourth spot after both Manchester United and City dropped points in the race for Champions League qualification on Saturday.

Every point is already crucial a full four months before the end of the season, but Sean Dyche's Burnley sit a creditable 10th with three wins in their last four games despite a shoestring budget.

TEAM NEWS

Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Hector Bellerin, Francis Coqeulin and Kieran Gibbs are all back in contention for the Gunners, with Olivier Giroud also a potential inclusion - most likely on the bench - after returning to training following a foot injury.

Theo Walcott (calf), Mathieu Debuchy (hamstring) and Per Mertesacker (knee) - who has signed a new on-year deal - should be out until the end of the month, while Santi Cazorla could miss the rest of the season due to further complications with an achilles injury.

Sean Dyche is hopeful that Scott Arfield, Johann Berg Gudmundsson, Dean Marney and Ashley Barnes will all return for Burnley, although Kevin Long is out with minor knee surgery.POSSIBLE
